Workshop Outcomes

Everyone talks about innovation being important, but most organisations are “failing” at it. Part of the reason for this is that we do not understand that almost everything is, and requires, innovation. Your company is actually innovating successfully all the time, every day. And you are too, as a leader. You just don’t realise it.

Every team strives to improve how it functions. Every sales department aims to increase its closing rates. Every employee wants to reach bigger KPIs and feel valued. All of those require innovation – the ongoing effort to do something in a new and better way. In this talk, we’ll look at

What innovation REALLY is.

How to cultivate a culture of innovation within yourself, your people, and your organisation.

How to radically drive up your innovation success rates by understanding just a few basic principles.

Beginning with the principle that as a human being, you already know very well how to successfully innovate. You just need a little clarity. This talk will offer some.

Coach & Film Maker

Michael Lee is a rare combination – a working creative professional who is also trained and skilled in facilitating creativity breakthroughs for leaders, entrepreneurs, teams, and coaches.

As a coach, he is heavily accredited, certified as a Master of Creativity and Innovation Coaching, Master NLP Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, and in the following disciplines: Executive, Recovery, Thought Leadership, Intercultural, Laughter, and Abundance.

As a filmmaker his shows have won 5 South African Film and TV Awards (SAFTAs) and he is currently producing two major international projects. He worked for more than two decades as a producer and director of documentary and reality programming in Africa, the US, and Europe. He began his career as a Story Editor for Castle Rock Pictures in Hollywood, and continues to empower other filmmakers today as an approved Script Editor for the SA NFVF and KZN Film Commission, working on numerous factual and fiction projects. He has also worked as a Script Editor privately for top South African producers.

He bases his training and coaching philosophy on the fact that the most important innovation you will ever make is to innovate yourself, and that the best way to free a team to innovate is to begin with shifting the minds of every team member. His concept of “Innotivity™” is derived from combining creativity and innovation into one word, because they are two parts of one process that begins with confronting a problem and ends with resolving it. He is the creator of numerous trainings based on this approach, all centered around step-by-step methods proven to significantly up the creativity levels of all who have gone through them and help “unstick” stuck projects.
